With 6 bedrooms SALT holiday rental has ample accomodation for 15 guests. The master has lovely views to the national park at the rear. The house sits high in the village with views over the town to the sea at the front and the national park at the rear. There are 2 fully renovated bathrooms inside and a screened hot outdoor shower. Massive Cooks Kitchen
SALT has a massive kitchen with bar stools along the 4 metre long island bar. We love to cook, so the kitchen is fully equipped with a 6 burner ILVE stove, dishwasher, nespresso coffee machine, and all you need to cook up a storm for a crowd. There is a large Weber Genesis BBQ on the front deck to satisfy outdoor chefs.
Open Plan Living Dining and Kitchen
Adjacent to the kitchen is the large open plan living and dining area with a wood burning Stovax fire, with plenty of wood supplied. Supplementing this is a separate living area, our 'snug' with TV just adjacent to the open plan area, perfect for movies.
Superb Rear Garden
The rear garden at SALT sits on the border with the large Beecroft Reserve. The rear garden includes a large deck under our beautiful gum tree, perfectly for outdoor eating and relaxing. Adjacent is both a basketball ring, as well as a table tennis and darts for the game enthusiasts in the garage.
Currarong Area
Currarong is a spectacular beach side town located 2.5 hours south of Sydney in the Jervis Bay area. The house is a 800m walk to the beach and shops, and backs onto the national park at the rear.
Currarong is a small village surrounded by national parkland on the ocean side of the Beecroft Pennisula, the northern headland of Jervis Bay. Witihin Currarong are fantastic swimming spots - the protected Bosum Beach, the famous rockpools, the Currarong creek and Warrain Beach, a 4km beach extending to Culburra popular with surfers. To the south of the town is Jervis Bay with a multitude of beaches, spectacular bushwalks and great mountain biking tracks accessible through the national park. The spectacular Wilsons beach, Honeymoon Bay and Cabbage Tree beach are all accessed from Currarong.
Within Currarong there is also a lawn bowling club with restaurant, and a small general store which stocks the basics and daily newspapers. There is also "Zest Cafe" which open during the day at the beach end of Piscator St. At Callala Bay, (11km) there is a larger IGA supermarket as well as several specialty shops including butchers, bottle shop and pharmacy. At Culburra Beach (22km) there is a Woolworths Supermarket. Nowra (30km) is 30 minutes drive and has all the larger supermarkets, a cinema and many specialty stores. Both Coles and Woolworths offer online delivery to the house in Currarong.
