Currarong is a spectacular beach side town located 2.5 hours south of Sydney in the Jervis Bay area. The house is a 800m walk to the beach and shops, and backs onto the national park at the rear.
Currarong is a small village surrounded by national parkland on the ocean side of the Beecroft Pennisula, the northern headland of Jervis Bay. Witihn Currarong are fantastic swimming spots - the protected Bosum Beach, the famous rockpools, the Currarong creek and Warrain Beach, a 4km beach extending to Culburra popular with surfers.
To the south of the town is Jervis Bay with a multitude of beaches, spectacular bushwalks and great mountain biking tracks accessible through the national park.
Within Currarong is a general store which stocks all the basics and a small bottleshop. There is also Zac’s Cafe featuring freshly caught local fish. There is a lawn bowling club with Chinese restaurant. At Callala Bay, 11km from Currarong there is a larger IGA supermarket as well as several specialty shops including butchers and pharmacy. Nowra is 20 minutes drive and has all the larger supermarkets, a cinema and many specialty stores.
